I’m Ellie and I’ve joined Hopscotch as a junior consultant, having recently graduated with an MSc in Environment, Culture and Society from the University of Edinburgh and previously a BSc in Geography from the University of Bristol. Alongside my studies, I’ve worked within the Plan A sustainability team at M&S and undertaken a variety of undergraduate internships, including a news and politics internship with BBC Points West and Sunday Politics in Bristol.

To best sum up my core interests, my masters dissertation explored how local community action can be harnessed to tackle global environmental issues, with a focus on the collaborative nature of corporate social purpose campaigns. Given the heightening pressure on business to be responsible in the local communities in which they serve and operate, I’m interested in how collaboration between business and education can open pathways for innovative solutions to some of the big challenges we collectively face.

My role now plays directly into these interests as I work across high-profile campaigns for a variety of clients, while also developing relationships with schools to enhance the learning of every child we reach. Helping to create original experiences that are both memorable and transformative is what drives me to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and so I am delighted to have joined the team here at Hopscotch!
