Findings from research with learners regarding the period product scheme, commissioned by the Department for Education and conducted by Hopscotch, has gone live!

We're so excited to announce that Barclays' LifeSkills programme is being extended to help millions of adults across the country, providing them with the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in the workplace. Millions of people of all ages will be able to benefit from free advice and guidance to help boost their career prospects, as Barclays launches a drive to boost workplace skills to meet the needs of the UK economy.

On a misty morning last week, Hopscotch Consulting brought together over 40 professionals from blue chip companies, leading NGOs and government departments to discuss the importance of supporting the education sector. From the 38th floor of the Gherkin, guests heard from programme leaders including Kirstie Mackey, Managing Director, Citizenship & Consumer Affairs, Barclays UK, Anna Russell, CSR Director at Bupa and Holly Matthewson, Talent Lead at Vodafone UK, about the ground-breaking work that they are currently delivering in the space 

We are working on a project to produce a Netflix-style digital library with a wide variety of workout videos that will be mainly used in PE lessons by girls aged 13-16 who are disengaged from the traditional PE offer. We're looking to appoint a partner who will work with us from the outset to ensure the platform is built on insight, as well as establishing the evaluation framework and revisiting this to assess impact.

Last week, we were delighted to be part of the judging of OLEV's Eco-Innovators competition. We were joined by experts from across the EV sector, from organisations such as National Grid, RAC Foundation, Living Streets, as well as Charlotte Smith, 12 year old EV campaigner who founded EV Thank You.

As a leading education consultancy for behaviour change programmes, we design our campaigns to be as inclusive as possible. Nowhere is this more important than in our STEM programmes, where we consistently work to tackle the disparity between the number of male and female students who choose to study STEM subjects and pursue careers within these industries.

England’s Cricket World Cup triumph, a new Prime Minister in No. 10 and the Love Island finale. Fair to say, it’s been an eventful summer.

 The Hopscotch office has been no exception, with several major launches and projects delivered in already. In early July we helped launch Vodafone’s new nationwide competition for schools - the Digital Creators’ Challenge.

Wednesday sees the launch of the Conscious Advertising Network (CAN) of which Hopscotch are a founding member. We played a key role leading the working group on children's wellbeing in advertising. CAN is a voluntary movement of over 30 organisations, and 50 experienced industry players, supported by ISBA in the UK.
