Last month saw this year’s Step into the NHS competition for primary schools close, and we were thrilled to have over 1,870 entries. This exciting initiative for 7-11-year olds aims to inspire the next generation of NHS staff, exposing them to the hugely varied range of careers which fall under the UK’s biggest employer. With that in mind, it was great to find that 68% of teachers said that the primary motivator to get their pupils involved was all about raising their career aspirations.

With the recent pandemic, education has been brought out of the shadows of the classroom and given a new, more glamorous status in the spotlight: agile, innovative, collaborative.
